Turning marine litter into playful sustainable socks

Turning marine litter into playful sustainable socks

Exciting news alert! 🚨 We’re over the moon to introduce our latest creation: sustainable socks, a fantastic collaboration between Antipodean Co. and the incredible folks at Healthy Seas!

Since the beginning of their journey in 2013, Healthy Seas has been on a mission to clean up our oceans. So far, they’ve successfully collected a whopping 905 tons of waste nets and marine litter. That’s a lot! But here’s the cool part: instead of letting all that junk clutter up, Healthy Seas has been partnering up with organizations to regenerate the fishing nets into brand-new nylon or products.

Just like Healthy Seas, we’re all about making a positive impact on our planet. We’ve transformed old plastic bottles into our breathable and lightweight swim shorts, so why not team up with another organization making waves?

Our signature fun hand-drawn designs are gracing these socks, of course, all made from a mix of cotton and ECONYL nylon. This special nylon is made from the waste nets collected by Healthy Seas along with other upcycled nylon waste. It’s a small step for your feet, but a giant leap for our oceans.

And just like our swim shorts, we haven't sacrificed comfort for sustainability - these are some of the cosiest, most comfortable socks we've ever worn!

And here's the best part: with every pair of socks you purchase, you're not just stepping out in style; you're also supporting Healthy Seas' commitment to cleaning up our seas, one fishing line at a time.
